Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the ABCD meeting “Stem Cells, Development and Regenerative Medicine”, which will be held in Turin, at the Molecular Biotechnology Centre, starting on 4 May in the afternoon, and ending on 6 May 2012, at 11.30 a.m.
The scope of the meeting is to favour discussions on embryonic development, cell and tissue plasticity, stem cell biology and their potential therapeutic applications. Above all, we hope to promote the integration of new emerging concepts in the fields of development and control of stem cell properties with cell / tissue plasticity, and attempts to apply the acquired knowledge towards experimental approaches of cell-based regeneration.
The sessions of the meeting will focus on the following topics:
In this edition, our Keynote Speakers will be Prof. Vania Broccoli (San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan, Italy) and Prof. Maria Pia Cosma (Centre for Genomic Regulation and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain). Others speakers will be announced shortly.
Vania Broccoli
Maria Pia Cosma
We strongly encourage young scientists to submit their contributions. Submitted abstracts will be selected for oral and poster presentations. A limited number of fellowships will be available to cover the meeting costs.
We hope that the meeting will provide a great opportunity to share new ideas, foster collaborations, and encourage young researchers in the field. The setting of the conference has been chosen to provide a friendly environment to stimulate formal and informal discussions, both during the meeting sessions and while enjoying food and drinks.
Abstracts are accepted exclusively through the meeting's website (please check the Registration page). The deadline for abstract submissions is 6 April 2012. The official language of the meeting is English.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to Turin.
